Covid Response
The Verat Group response to COVID-19
For clarity The Verat Group encompasses Brysdales, Dexion Direct, Railex, Railex Direct, Modena Journals, Verat Space and Verat Services. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact daily life in the United Kingdom, our full attention remains on helping our customers to run their businesses. We do so with our employees and customers health and wellbeing as our priority.
Employee safety
The Verat Group businesses are following all guidelines set out by the UK Government, including home working, social distancing, travel advice and general hygiene recommendations. Furthermore we have carried out a Covid-19 risk assessment and shared the results with the people who work here.
A ‘safe’ shift working pattern has been put in place for all Office, Factory and Warehouse staff to ensure that that our employees can work safely and to ensure appropriate and safe working distances can be maintained at all times.
We have also provided additional personal protection items such as facemasks and sanitiser wipes for use by our employees where required.
A daily cleaning and weekly deep cleaning programme is in place throughout the working areas, with hand sanitiser stations at entry points to all rooms and corridors.
We will continue to review and update our support for employees as new guidance arises and make changes where necessary.
We are working through the AA COVID Confident Accreditation
The accreditation indicates our establishment has in place the necessary risk assessment, safety measures and staff training to open safely, in line with the UK’s respective government guidelines as well as UK Hospitality and respective trade association guidelines, as they are published.
Product supply
We recognise that our customers need our products to fulfil their own orders and therefore expect us to deliver on time, we endeavour to manage our customers’ expectations and work within the UK guidelines in doing so.
Our manufacturing operations are fully operational and our Warehouse is well stocked so we are ready to ship stocked products to our customers in good time equipment products and to customers. At this time, we do not foresee any disruption to our global supply chain that would impact our ability to deliver products.
